[Angel never got back to him the day before. That happens sometimes. Sometimes survival distracts you, taking greater precedence. But when it creeps into the morning of the next day and there's still nothing, he's starting to worry.

Until he sees the announcement about Handome Jack's death. And Angel's response. And suddenly her silence makes sense.

He stops waiting for her to reply, and instead contacts her himself, switching to voice.]

Angel... [His voice is soft, concerned.] Are you alright?
